Drinks Menu
Drygate on every tap. A wine list that's short on purpose. Spirits and more.
Whether you're in for after work drinks in Glasgow or settling in for the night, the drinks menu at The Bellman is built around proper beer and honest wine. Drygate on every tap, a short wine list of bottles we'd actually drink ourselves, and a spirits selection to cover the rest.
All our beer comes from Drygate Brewery, Glasgow. Visit them at drygate.com
Craft beer
Drygate on every tap. If you're looking for craft beer bars in Glasgow, a dedicated Drygate taproom in Merchant City is a decent place to start. Glasgow's own brewery running every line — no guest taps, no filler.
Drygate Pilsner
Clean, crisp lager. The session pint.
Gladeye IPA
Flagship IPA — hoppy, balanced, sessionable.
Seven Peaks
Pale ale with citrus and tropical notes.
Seasonal Rotation
Rotating seasonal from Drygate — ask the bar what's pouring.
Bottles & Cans
A selection of Drygate bottles and cans for something different.
Wine
The wine list is short — about a dozen bottles, mostly natural and low-intervention, all ones we'd actually drink ourselves. If you're looking for a wine bar in Glasgow, we're not pretending to be one. But the natural wine Glasgow scene is strong and we've picked bottles that hold their own alongside the beer. Red, white, rosé, and a couple of orange wines when we can get them.
Red
A short selection of natural and low-intervention reds.
White
Crisp, clean whites — mostly natural.
Rosé
A rosé or two worth drinking.
Spirits
We're a beer and wine place first, but the spirits selection covers the essentials and then some.
Tanqueray
London dry gin.
Johnnie Walker
Blended Scotch whisky.
Absolut
Swedish vodka.
Bacardi
White rum.
Monkey Shoulder
Blended malt Scotch whisky.
